Uhljar Luca finished in second place at the DOSZ - Conference on Health Sciences and Innovation
DOSZ - Science and Innovation Conference, organized by the Association of Hungarian PhD and DLA Candidates (DOSZ) and the Doctoral Student Association of Semmelweis University, was held on January 29-30, 2021. The official language of the online event was English but it was also possible to give a presentation in Hungarian.
Over the two days, a total of 53 lectures on medicine and health science were given in 8 sections. The presentations of the Translational and interdisciplinal sciences section were evaluated by a professional jury of three people: Prof. dr. Zoltán Benyó (Institute of Translational Medicine, Semmelweis University), dr. András Garami (Institute of Translational Medicine, University of Pécs) and dr. Zsófia Mezei Institute of Pathophysiology, University of Szeged).
There were 7 lectures in the section and Luca Uhljar (the only pharmacist) finished in 2nd place with her presentation entitled Development of antibiotic-loaded electrospun nanofibers.

In addition to presenting the research results of doctoral students, there were plenary presentations by world-renowned researchers and professors. The aim of the round table discussion with Mariann Forgács (CEO - Be Social) and dr. With András Kulja (surgeon, videoblogger - Stethoscope) was to help professionals deal with fake news on various social media sites.
