Mahwash Mukhtar negyedéves PhD hallgatónk Erasmus  mobilitáson vett részt Spanyolországban, Santiago De Compostela-ban egy hónapos időtartamra. A tanulmányút nagyon hasznos volt, egyfelöl a kooperációs kapcsolatokat erősítette, másrészt a tudományos kutatómunkájában is sok hasznosat tanult.

The fourth-year doctoral student, Mahwash Mukhtar, from the institute of pharmaceutical technology and regulatory affairs recently finished her research mobility at the Centre for Research in Molecular Medicine and Chronic Diseases (CiMUS), Santiago De Compostela, Spain. The duration of the research was one month from 15th September-16th October 2021. This mobility took place as a result of the research collaboration between the pharmaceutical technology group of Dr. Rita Ambrus in Szeged and the Natural Polymers and Biomimetics group led by Dr. Noemi Csaba in CiMUS, Spain. Mahwash Mukhtar works with pulmonary drug delivery under the supervision of Dr. Rita Ambrus. A similar kind of research is also being conducted in Natural Polymers and Biomimetics group in CiMUS under the supervision of Dr. Noemi Csaba. CiMUS is a state of art research institute promoting interdisciplinary research in biomedical science. Hence, the mobility was planned to facilitate the thesis research of the doctoral student. The work plan involved the experiments with cell cultures, primarily the human macrophages. Natural Polymers and Biomimetics group actively participate in different scientific outreach projects at different levels, in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Education, Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT), Xunta de Galicia, and FEUGA. Previously, a doctoral student, Sandra Robla from this lab in CiMUS worked under the supervision of Dr. Rita Ambrus through an Erasmus exchange program.
